How can I help you?
Hi I'm Chris,
Chris is an experienced musculoskeletal physiotherapist with a genuine passion for helping people move better, feel stronger, and get back to doing what they love. He holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy from Charles Sturt University in NSW and a Bachelor of Applied Science (Human Movement) from RMIT University and has been working across Perth’s public and private physiotherapy sector since 2006.
His interest in physiotherapy began through sport and a few injuries along the way. After spending his junior years playing elite-level sport (and becoming very familiar with physios and sports medicine doctors), Chris developed a strong appreciation for the rehabilitation process. What started as injury management quickly turned into a long-term fascination with musculoskeletal injuries and performance.
Over the years, he has worked with both professional and amateur sporting teams and while he’s happy to follow most sports, he has a particular soft spot for basketball and Australian rules football and naturally, the injuries that come with them.
Chris is experienced in a wide range of hands-on and exercise-based treatment techniques, including Maitland and McKenzie methods, dry needling, Clinical Pilates, rehabilitation and performance-based exercise prescription, post-operative care, injury prevention and pain management. He has a special interest in work and sports-related musculoskeletal conditions.
His treatment style combines practical, hands-on therapy — including joint mobilisation, dry needling and soft tissue techniques — with clear, structured exercise programs and self-management strategies.
Outside the clinic, Chris can usually be found coaching his kids’ sporting teams (which he mostly enjoys), falling further down the rabbit hole of low-and-slow barbecue mastery or trying to perfect his lawn.
Chris has a strong clinical interest in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including:
· Neck and shoulder pain
· Low back and hip conditions
· Lower limb injuries affecting the hip, knee, foot and ankle
· Exercise-related injuries
· Acute sporting injuries
· Post-surgical rehabilitation
· General musculoskeletal injuries and pain
He enjoys helping people return to the activities that matter most to them, whether that’s sport, work, or everyday movement.
